Reviews and Ratings
The hotel was close to facilities, but the room wasn't ready upon check-in, leading to a 30-minute wait. The WiFi works fine, public areas are satisfactory, and there's a leisure club with a pool. The room had a sofa bed that was uncomfortable. The service was friendly and attentive, but there were issues with the drinks bill. The location was good for business meetings but felt cold and not inviting. The dining experience had great choices but was chaotic. Overall, a mixed experience with some positives and negatives.
The hotel had some drawbacks like small rooms with tiny shower spaces and issues with double payments, but it was serviceable overall. The presence of flying insects in the bathroom was a downside. On the positive side, the accommodation was suitable for those traveling with a child due to the room setup.
The hotel wasn't up to the usual Holiday Inn standards we have experienced before, as it was very outdated and needed some tender loving care. The location was handy but the difficulty getting out of the car park during morning rush hours was a challenge. The dining experience was quite subpar with cold and unappetizing breakfast. Despite the shortcomings, the hotel was clean and quiet, fitting our basic needs.
The hotel has a great location close to Trentham Monkey Forest and the village. The rooms are clean and have all the necessary facilities, but some repairs are needed. Service is friendly and helpful. The location is convenient if you have a car but not ideal for walking around. The dining experience can be hit or miss. The hotel is just off the M6, making it a good stopping point between the South West and The Lakes.
